Great views, fantastic food and superb staff

We went as part of our office retreat and were treated well. The hotel serves fabulous, fresh food, using produce from the organic gardens behind the hotel. We were lucky enough to get a tour from the owner and were very impressed by the variety of vegetables and herbs being grown there. It's all the more impressive when you consider that it was once completely covered in alder. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the town centre and the marina, so you can't beat the location.

Senior Reviewer

My husband and I traveled to Salt Spring Island over the weekend to attend a friends wedding. When we arrived at the Harbour House Hotel we were greeted by the most friendly front desk staff ever. My husband is in a wheelchair, and the room we had booked online unfortunately did not work for us in terms of layout. We asked at the front desk if we could be moved to another room. Cam, the front desk attendant, was beyond helpful and accommodating. He moved us to another room which was a significant upgrade from our previous room at no extra cost. Our new room was beautiful.
